About us

The name “arcum” – derived from the Latin word “arcum”, meaning “arch” or “bow” – reflects our approach of connecting different legal issues and providing advice across related areas of law.

Our main areas of practice are employment law and commercial and corporate law. We also advise on tax law and international business law matters.

We advise companies, executives, employees and private individuals. Our work ranges from the preventive structuring of legal relationships and contracts to representation in out-of-court and court proceedings.

A significant part of our work involves matters that touch on more than one area of law. Employment law issues may have corporate law implications, corporate transactions may have tax consequences, and commercial contracts may involve international aspects. In such cases, we coordinate our advice within our respective areas of expertise.

We also advise on cross-border matters. French-speaking clients can receive advice in French on matters of German law. Where foreign law is involved, we work with specialised law firms abroad where appropriate.

In tax law we cooperate with the tax consultancy office Martin Reimann.
